National Baby Co. is expanding, and we’re currently seeking Carrot-qualified postpartum doulas in Los Angeles, the Bay Area, San Diego, New York City, and North Jersey.
We’re looking for experienced, grounded, and compassionate doulas who are passionate about supporting families through the fourth trimester with daytime and overnight care, and who are ready to join a team that values real support, clear communication, and collaborative care.
What is National Baby Co?
We’re a team of birth and postpartum professionals who really love what we do. Owners, Chelsea and Lauren, have been supporting families for a combined 25+ years, and have built a company rooted in integrity, sustainability, and community.
Simply put, we match incredible doulas with incredible families.
Our team supports families through pregnancy, birth, postpartum, and beyond. That means sleep coaching, lactation, fertility, newborn care, and so much more. We show up fully and remind families they don’t have to do this solo… and doula, neither do you.
Our clients are diverse, values-driven, and looking for doulas who can support them emotionally and practically through big transitions.
Who Can Join Our Team?
All perinatal providers who meet our eligibility criteria are invited to submit an application to join our team. However, we’re currently prioritizing applications for daytime and overnight Postpartum Doulas who:
Are qualified for Carrot reimbursement (bonus if you’re already a part of their directory)
Are based in Los Angeles, the Bay Area, NYC, or North Jersey
Have at least 6 months supporting families postpartum (more is great)
Are professional and punctual
Are CPR & First Aid certified, have liability insurance, and a legally binding client contract
Have exemplary communication skills
Can confidently support families with postpartum recovery, newborn care, infant feeding, newborn sleep education, emotional support, light meal preparation, and postpartum planning.
Bonus if you speak a second language, have overnight availability, or specialize in multiples, NICU grads, etc.
