Every match we make is hand-selected. We do not use algorithms or AI to match you with somethings as personal as your birth & postpartum support team. We aim to take the time to understand what you’re looking for and personally match you with doulas we believe will be a strong fit.
All of the doulas on our team are highly vetted and selected by us. Each one runs their own independent practice, sets their own rates, and brings their own approach to care. Whether you’re looking for birth support, daytime postpartum help, or overnight care, you’ll have the space to choose someone who truly feels right for you.
Our matching service is completely free for families. There’s no cost to explore your options or connect with potential doulas.
Ultimately, we’re here to help you find the right support for your family in a way that feels simple, thoughtful, and personal. This process should never feel overwhelming, and we do everything we can to keep it grounded and stress-free.

We Make the Match. Your Doula Provides the Care
Our role is to connect you with doulas who align with your needs, budget, preferences, and values.
We will:
Clarify what kind of support you’re looking for
Provide a curated selection of doula candidates
Support you through the candidate selection process
Once you’ve found your match, you’ll work directly with your doula. You’ll handle contracts, rates, and communication together, building a relationship that’s personal, clear, and fully your own.
Your Contract and Services Are Arranged Between You and Your Doula
When you move forward with a candidate, your services are between you and your doula as an independent provider.
This means your care, services, financial agreement, and expectations are outlined directly in your contract with them.
Communication About Care Goes Directly to Your Doula
Once the contract is finalized, your doula manages all aspects of your care. This includes:
Scheduling
Adjustments to your care plan
Questions or concerns about services
Conversations about continuing, extending, or ending care
Refunds or package changes
Health plan reimbursement documentation
We’re always here to help you understand things more clearly, but your doula is the one providing and managing your care. Any changes to services, unused hours, or refunds are handled directly between you and your doula, based on your contract.
How We Continue to Support You After Your Doula is Hired
Even after you’ve matched, we’re still here for you. We can:
Help clarify contract language
Offer guidance on what’s typical in doula care
Support clear and respectful communication
Rematch you if your needs change
Receive and respond to feedback or grievances
Review members for inappropriate conduct when warranted
Because your doula is an independent provider, we do not:
Supervise or micromanage our doulas
Direct how care is provided
Mediate disputes
Make decisions about or provide refunds
Using Carrot, Maven, Progyny and other Benefits for Reimbursement
Many families use employer-sponsored programs like Carrot, Maven, or Progyny to help cover doula care. Here are a few things to keep in mind when using these benefits and hiring a doula:
Not all doulas work with every benefit platform, therefore we ask that you include details on your coverage when inquiring with us, so we can match you appropriately.
Documentation requirements can vary and we ask that you provider your doula with the most up-to-date documentation needs.
We can’t guarantee reimbursement approval.
Your doula will provide documentation like invoices or service summaries directly to you for reimbursement.
