Comfort Measures for Labor Workshop - Clarkston, MI
Prepare for birth with confidence, calm, and connection. In this hands-on workshop, you and your partner will learn practical comfort techniques to support your body and mind through labor. We’ll explore breathing, relaxation, movement, massage, positioning, and partner support—all designed to help you cope with contractions and create a more positive, empowering birth experience.
Whether you’re planning for a hospital, birth center, or home birth, this class will give you both the tools and the confidence to stay grounded, relaxed, and connected every step of the way.
Come ready to move, laugh, learn, and leave feeling more relaxed, informed, and empowered for the big day.

Dwell :: Prayer Circle
Being a doula is an incredible gift, but there are time when doula work can be isolating, challenging, and draining. Our Dwell: Doula Prayer Circle is a space for Christian doulas, midwives, & birthworkers to come together, share what’s on their hearts, give thanks to God, and lift each other up in prayer. We spend time connecting, encouraging one another, and praying for ourselves, our families, and the families we serve.
This free prayer circle is a place to breathe, to be honest about the ups and downs of this work, and to remember you are not alone in the doula life. Come with your struggles, your joys, and everything in between, and leave feeling supported, seen, and renewed in your purpose. By attending monthly, you also have the chance to make lasting doula friends who understand the uniqueness of being called by God and honoring Him in this work.

Doula Workshop: Financial Literacy for Doulas
Join us for this specialized workshop designed to empower doulas and other birthworkers with the financial knowledge and skills essential for thriving in their profession.
In this live workshop, you will gain insights into the unique financial aspects of running a successful birth & postpartum doula business, from setting rates and paying yourself from your business profits to managing expenses and budgeting effectively.
Led by a seasoned doula, this workshop offers practical guidance tailored specifically to the needs of birth workers who are also small business owners. Participants will learn how to navigate the financial landscape of the doula profession with confidence, helping to ensure financial stability and career sustainability. Join us as we demystify finances and equip you and other doulas with the tools they need to build a sustainable and prosperous doula practice.

Members Only: Mock Interviews
Prepare for success with mock interviews exclusively for National Baby Co. members! Gain confidence, practice answering common questions, and receive personalized feedback to help you stand out in interviews for birth and postpartum doula positions. Let’s refine your skills and ensure you’re ready to connect with prospective clients!
Registration required - please select a time with either Lauren or Chelsea!
Limited appointments are available on a first-come, first-served basis. These will be held for two weeks in January. When scheduling, please skip forward in our calendars to find availability. If you don’t see availability, that likely means these spots are booked up, in which case you can always use your mentoring call for a mock interview as well.
Treat this as a true client interview: send confirmation emails/texts, welcome packets, or anything you’d typically provide. This will help us offer constructive feedback on your communication, workflow, and systems.

Doula Workshop Launch: Nourishing the Client: Mind, Body, & Spirit
"Nourishing the Client: Mind/Body/Spirit," is our newest workshop From guiding clients through mindful breathing exercises during labor to offering compassionate postpartum support that honors the varying emotional, physical and spiritual dimensions of motherhood & parenting, this workshop will equip you with additional tools to nourish your clients on every level.
Join us as we delve into the art of holistic doula care and empower yourself to provide support that honors the interconnectedness of mind, body, and spirit in the childbearing years
This workshop is hosted by Lauren Foster & Chelsea Croce, owners of National Baby Co. and will be held pre-recorded and available for purchase on September 12.
Orange County Birthworker Breakfast
Calling all Birthworkers in Orange County and beyond! Let’s start the week on a positive note, and connect over breakfast at Haute Cakes Caffe in Newport Beach, CA! This will be a great opportunity to build connections with birth and postpartum providers, alike. Come join National Baby Co. Members and the greater birth professional community in and around Orange County to share your experience, stories, and advice!
We will plan to meet at 9:30AM PST. The goal of this event is to provide a casual meet up for any birthworkers looking to build camaraderie. Babies in arms/highchair are more than welcome! There is both indoor and outdoor seating available.
Haute Cakes is an order and dine in or take out restaurant, meaning each guest orders and pays for their own food, and the food will be brought to them. If you plan to attend, please RSVP by September 23rd so that we can give the restaurant a rough headcount.
This event is organized by National Baby Co. and open to all birthworkers (birth & postpartum doulas, newborn care specialists, lactation consultants, sleep coaches, etc). Membership not required to attend.

Doula Workshop: Closing the Sale - Part 1
Welcome to our engaging and exciting workshop designed specifically for doulas and other birthworkers seeking to master the art of "Closing the Sale." In this two-part series, we delve into the essential 4 Pillars that will increase your ability to secure bookings as a Doula or Perinatal Specialist.
In Part One, we'll guide you through the process of "Finding Your Niche," helping you identify your unique strengths and specialties, enabling you to stand out in a competitive market. Next, we'll focus on "First Connections," providing you with strategies to establish meaningful rapport with potential clients, laying a crucial foundation.
Both workshops will be hosted by Lauren Foster & Chelsea Croce, owners of National Baby Co. and will be held live via Zoom and include a Q&A.
